Donald Trump was very divisive during his time in the presidential office. But one thing is undeniable. He remains, by all accounts, the richest person to ever be elected the president of the United States

Former Dallas Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant certainly has some issues with Trump. Even though he does not hate the former president, he believes that Trump should be prosecuted under RICO. He said it half-jokingly on Twitter, but it got him into a debate with another Twitter user.

The respondent claimed that Donald Trump is living in Dez Bryant's head rent-free. It sparked further discussions with other users on the social media platform. The three-time Pro Bowler claimed that he was not obsessing over Trump. He recently watched a documentary about the 45th president, which led to him making those claims on Twitter.

Others chimed in, saying Bryant should stick to football and not complain because, unlike him, Donald Trump is a billionaire. The former Cowboys star responded by saying that he hopes to reach that milestone one day.

Dez Bryant is not a fan of Donald Trump

This is not the first time the former Cowboys star has expressed an opinion about the former president. Since his days with the Dallas Cowboys, he has been a vocal critic of Donald Trump.

In 2017, the president voiced his displeasure with players kneeling during the national anthem. Trump demanded that any player who knelt in protest of police brutality be banned from the league, starting with Colin Kaepernick.

Bryant rallied his teammates and fought back against the rhetoric being pushed by Trump.

"Sports can show a perfect example of unity. That’s our job. It’s not just black NFL players. It’s a mix of different races. I felt like that was a clear shot at Trump, sitting on the knee like that... We felt like that was the best thing to do. We’re not going to let a guy like that tear us apart. Not just us but this whole entire league.”

Dez Bryant has also voiced his support for Joe Biden, the current incumbent president who defeated Donald Trump in the 2020 election. But he has made it clear that he does not want to further divide himself from the former president's supporters.

Despite the acrimony, Dez Bryant seems to be in awe of Trump's ability to make money.

Bryant amassed 537 receptions, 7506 receiving yards, and 75 touchdowns over nine NFL seasons.
