Cowboys star Dak Prescott and Sarah Jane are officially engaged. A few weeks into the 2024 NFL season, Prescott proposed to Jane on a golf course during the Cowboys' bye week.

The two seem to have made the most of the time, with Jane recapping the event in an Instagram post on Thursday with pictures of her and Dak. She also added a sweet message:

"The best week of my life with the love of my life 🤍 You make me the happiest girl on Earth and I cannot wait to be your wife… 🥹 I love you in this life and the next, @_4dak ! To forever with you 🥂💒♾️," Sarah Jane wrote in her caption.

Prescott, gushing over his family, commented on the photo:

"My fiancée & family!! ❤️ I love you forever & then again! What an amazing week! Thank you for your love ♥️ and God you the Man btw 🙏🏽."

Dak Prescott revealed fiancee Sarah Jane had no idea he got her a ring

During a media scrum after practice on Thursday, Prescott was asked about his bye-week engagement. Playing on Jane's love for golfing, Prescott proposed to her with a fake golf ball.

Prescott admitted that he wanted it to be perfect, which did result in a few nerves.

"Obviously there are a little nerves, especially when you want it to be perfect. The kind of nerves you get when you go into a game. You’re ready, you’re excited about it, but you want everything to go really, really well," Prescott said.

In fact, the QB revealed that he kept repeating his words so he didn't forget them.

Dating since 2023, Prescott and Jane started posting regularly about their personal moments after announcing their pregnancy. Jane, of course, is slightly more active than the Cowboys QB.

Their daughter Margaret Jane "MJ" Rose Prescott was born on February 22, 2024.
