Jordan Poyer and Rachel Bush's daughter Aliyah has turned eight two days before the New Year arrives. The couple was eager to celebrate their daughter's birthday, sharing multiple moments from her personalized birthday party.

Poyer, who is currently playing with the Miami Dolphins, shared a sweet note for Aliyah on Instagram.

"Happy birthday my love!! 8 years around the sun is crazy! We love you so much," Poyer wrote in his caption.

While Poyer chose to wish Aliyah, Bush chose to share a few more snaps and clips for the birthday. This includes a clip of Aliyah, along with a photo of her elaborate birthday cake.

"My heart and soul is 8 today. I love being your mom miss Aliyah Anne," Bush wrote in one wish. \

In another story, Bush revealed Aliyah wanted an under-the-sea cake, but had a few specifics in mind.

"Aliyah said she wanted she wanted an "under the sea" cake but also wanted fishing included," Rachel wrote.

Jordan Poyer and family celebrated their very first Christmas in Florida

With the 2024 season, Poyer and Bush had to move to Florida as the former signed with the Miami Dolphins. It was a stark contrast to Buffalo, which had been the safety's home since 2017.

Though the family has adjusted to Florida and embraced the community, it was still a change to celebrate Christmas somewhere else.

Bush took the celebrations to another level, creating Santa footsteps in Florida weather to surprise Aliyah.

"It was almost 5 am when I realized we live in South Florida and this doesn't really make sense now," Rachel Bush wrote.

She even provided a sneak peek into their family traditions with Aliyah:

"Our tradition is kids can't go downstairs until the whole family is present and ready lol."

Bush has been a constant pillar of support for Poyer, showing up at most of his games, sometimes with Aliyah in tow. As the Dolphins continue to cling to playoffs hope, one can hope for more game-time updates from Bush.
