In Photos: Matthew Stafford's wife Kelly recaps memorable Christmas dinner night with kids

Matthew Stafford's wife, Kelly Stafford, is all set to celebrate holidays with her family. With the NFL regular season close to wrapping up, the family also has a chance to relax and spend some downtime together.

Of course, Matthew and Kelly had to spend a whole day celebrating Christmas with their four girls: Sawyer, Chandler, Hunter and Tyler.

On Friday, Kelly shared what seemed like a recap of their holidays, which included meeting Santa and going out for dinner with the girls.

"Slice of life from the last few days," Kelly wrote in her IG story.

Kelly even recapped their Christmas Eve celebrations on Tuesday.

It was a photo of them enjoying a movie, Kelly capturing their decorations and TV in one snap. Of course, watching a Christmas movie on Christmas Eve is a common tradition for many families.

Furthermore, Kelly admitted to hiring professionals to put up lights for the holidays. On her "The Morning After" podcast, Kelly revealed that the children were surprised others were putting up lights. However, when she asked them to do it themselves, they looked at her like she was "crazy."

Matthew Stafford's daughter has an adorable interest in learning about football

In Tuesday's episode of her podcast, "The Morning After," Kelly spoke about her daughter Tyler's interest in football. Apparently, it began with her watching the Los Angeles Rams beat the New York Jets.

Kelly was impressed with all the questions Tyler had for her.

"I love that Tyler asked if she could snuggle and watch the game with me last night. I was like 'Oh my God,' and she had questions. She was just like 'Mommy, why do they tackle that guy, like why don't they tackle everyone? Like why does the guy carrying the ball?'

Kelly explained to Tyler in detail, with the questions multiplying with every answer.

"I was like, 'Well, he has the ball and so, you know you want to get him to the ground cuz then the play is over.' And she was like, 'Well, why doesn't he just give the ball to somebody else when he gets tackled?' You know, she's asking these questions and it's freaking adorable," Kelly concluded. (27:52)

Often up to date with all that's happening in the sports world, Kelly's podcast ranges from various on-field discussions to her family life.

While the 2024 NFL regular season is coming to an end soon, one can certainly expect more family-focused content by Kelly.
