Matthew Stafford's wife Kelly came across a "monster" inside their house in Hidden Hills, California. After returning home from shopping for a Christmas tree, Kelly received a text from her neighbors claiming that there was a mountain lion just a few houses away.
On Wednesday, Kelly Stafford took to her Instagram story to share the details of her encounter with the mountain lion.
"Just the casual morning text 'hey your neighbors a couple houses down had this mountain lion in their yard this morning,'" Kelly captioned.

Kelly then shared a clip of a mountain lion climbing down the tree in her backyard and roaming around in the kids' play area.
"I mean I know Cali is great but between earthquakes, wild fires, bob cats and now this monster... it's also terrifying," Kelly wrote.
Kelly started decorating her house for Christmas when she returned from Florida last week. The podcaster took her kids for a family trip with her siblings and visited Disneyworld with them a day before returning home to California.
Matthew Stafford's wife Kelly took Caleb Williams' side over the Bears' controversial 23-20 loss to the Lions
The Chicago Bears lost to the Detroit Lions 23-20 on Thanksgiving Day, and Caleb Williams has received backlash for not using the remaining timeout late in the game. During Tuesday's episode of "The Morning After" podcast, Kelly Stafford sided with Williams and blamed then-Bears coach Matt Eburflus for it.
“That's really interesting to me that people are even blaming him because I'm thinking, and maybe I'm wrong, but I'm thinking about Matthew in that moment," Kelly said (15:56). "I mean, I would think you rely on your head coach to make that decision because, maybe, your head coach has a different play in mind or something and that's why he's not calling timeout.
“I wouldn't put that on Caleb at all, like, at all. In fact, I'm not sure what that game consisted of because, again, I did not watch it, but the fact that they could have tied the number one team in the NFL makes me think he was playing all right."
With just 30 seconds left, the Bears had a good chance to tie the game. However, instead of using the final timeout, the Bears rushed their next play. The loss extended Chicago's streak to six games.
The Chicago Bears fired Matt Eberflus on Friday.
