Fans were quick to hype the couple, happy that the tight end will play in the playoffs again. His last playoff appearance was with the Arizona Cardinals in 2021.
That said, Julie has been a constant support for Zach Ertz from the sidelines. The retired soccer player often attends games, cheering for her husband on the field and social media simultaneously.
Earlier in December, Julie even described herself and their kids as members of 'Zach Ertz's fan club.'
The couple was engaged in 2016, marrying a year later in 2017. Their older son Madden was born on Aug. 11, 2022, while their twin sons (Kace and Kyren) were born earlier this year on Aug. 24.
Julie and Zach, always looking to celebrate with their well-wishers, have continued to update fans on social media.
Julie Ertz welcomed her two new sons this year while celebrating Zach's second birthday.
"Happy Birthday to the sweetest, most fearless, happy Boy! 2 years with our bestie ❤️ we love you Madden!!," Julie wrote on Instagram in August.
It was Julie Ertz's decision to quit soccer and build a family with husband Zach Ertz

As mentioned earlier, Julie Ertz is also a former athlete. Playing with the National Women's Soccer League and for the US women's national team, Ertz also boasts an Olympic bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics in 2020 and was part of two FIFA Women's World Cup-winning teams (2015 and 2019).
However, it was her own decision to retire.
"I don't want to regret anything. I think when I get to a point to be able to choose myself when I could step away. . . I do feel like I could step away and be like 'it's not because mumma can't play - mumma can play!" Ertz told the media [via Forbes].
Additionally, Julie did not want to take away from her family time.
"I think the biggest factor for sure, like anything in this sport takes, is sacrifice. Time with my family is just irreplaceable, especially with where Madden is in his age."
