Antonio Brown was one of the best wide receivers of the 2010s. He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2010 and played in the league until 2021, when he stormed off the field while representing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers against the New York Jets.
Towards the end of his career, Brown found himself increasingly embroiled in controversy, but that shouldn't discredit his achievements.
As a rookie with the Steelers, he was primarily used on special teams as a returner. He recorded his first 1,000-yard receiving season the very next season.

Antonio Brown went on to record six straight 1,000-yard receiving seasons with the Steelers and set a career-high of 15 touchdown receptions in 2018. He was named to four first-team All-Pros, one second-team All-Pro, and became a Super Bowl champion in 2020.
He had seven seasons of 1100+ yards, six seasons with over 100 catches, and led the league in receptions and receiving yards twice. In his career, Antonio Brown has 12,291 receiving yards, 928 receptions and 83 touchdowns.
Brown is positioned 21st in all-time career catches, 24th in receiving yards, and 25th in receiving touchdowns.
Despite his jaw-dropping stats, Brown may not become a first-ballot Hall of Famer.
NFL fans had split reactions as to whether or not Brown should make the Hall of Fame on the first ballot. Here's how fans reacted to Brown's resume:
Is Antonio Brown in same boat as Terrell Owens, who had to wait 3 years to make Hall of Fame due to his antics?
Wide receiver Terrell Owens had to wait until the third year of eligibility to get elected into the Hall of Fame. Like Antonio Brown, Owens was a distraction off the field with his antics, although he extremely productive on the field.
Owens is a six-time Pro Bowler and five-time All-Pro. During his 15 seasons, he recorded 1,078 receptions, 15,934 yards, and 153 touchdowns. He ranks third in NFL history in career receiving yards and receiving touchdowns.
Time will tell if Brown is a first-ballot Hall-of-Famer, but it wouldn't be the biggest surprise to see him wait like Owens, due to the controversial situations he's been in.
