Bijan Robinson and the Atlanta Falcons bounced back from a tough loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 1 with a surprise 22-21 win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football last week. The running back was one of his team's better performers. He carried the ball 14 times for 97 yards and caught four passes for 25 yards in a stellar all-round display.
Robinson finished his rookie year with 976 rushing yards and 487 receiving yards and has continued where he left off last season. The sophomore star has had over 100 all-purpose yards in each of the Falcons' first two games, highlighting how critical he is to their offensive game plan.
Through two games, it's evident that new quarterback Kirk Cousins and head coach Raheem Morris intend to rely heavily on Robinson this season. While he's still being targeted around five times in the passing game like last year, he's averaging over three more carries per game.

The running back's health is critical to the Falcons' odds of having a successful campaign and thankfully they have nothing to be concerned about on that front.
Is Bijan Robinson playing today?
The Falcons will host the reigning Super Bowl champions Kansas City Chiefs at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Sunday in their second primetime game in as many weeks. Bijan Robinson's name has been absent from the team's injury report, suggesting that the running back will play in Week 3 against Patrick Mahomes and co.
The Chiefs are 2-0 but it hasn't been as comfortable a start to the season as their record suggests. Both games were decided on the final play, with Kansas City doing just enough to eke out the wins.
The Falcons will have to play exceptionally well to be the first team to hand the reigning Super Bowl champions their first loss of the year. Robinson will have to deliver a stellar performance and perhaps even score a touchdown, which he hasn't done so far through two weeks, the only blemish on an otherwise exceptional start to the campaign.
