While Cleveland Browns fans are excited about their team acquiring Amari Cooper from the Dallas Cowboys, some believe the wideout was wronged.
New Orleans Saints star Cameron Jordan is among those who think the former Cowboys wideout got a raw deal by being traded to the Browns. Jordan tweeted:
"What Amari do to deserve this? Go from Oakland to Dallas but from Dallas to Clemaaan maybe it’s the obj situation that got me lookin at them wrong… that and the cold snowing weather…"

Moving to Cleveland isn't the most enticing option for pro athletes. Many folks besides Jordan thought it was unfair for the Cowboys to ship Cooper to Cleveland. Several Brown fans came to their city and team's defense after Jordan put them on blast:
Jordan tried to clean up his comments about the Browns and the city of Cleveland, and some fans tried to get him to come for a visit:
"Would love to visit cle I’ve been before actually! In the spring or summ… Honestly i’m mad for never goin to see a Lebron, Kevin love, Kyrie game… but to look at how they’ve done obj and prob how they will do Jarvis phht"
The city of Cleveland has been a graveyard for some great pro-athletes careers, and that's why so many people were upset about Cooper being traded there.
Did the Cowboys do Amari Cooper wrong by sending him to Cleveland?
The Cleveland Browns will be Amari Cooper's third NFL team after the Oakland Raiders and Dallas Cowboys. Being traded to a city and team known for losing and not making the playoffs often won't exactly excite a star player.
The Cowboys wanted Cooper gone by any means necessary, and the Browns were the only team willing to make any acceptable offer for the wide receiver. But did the Cowboys do an injustice to Amari Cooper by sending him there? A lot of fans and the media felt like Cooper deserved better.
Many NFL players who joined the Browns have seen their career trajectory go downwards. Odell Beckham Jr. is a prime example. The wide receiver's career tanked with the Browns but was revived in Los Angeles with the Rams, where he played a massive part in helping the team win the Super Bowl.
Beckham made no bones about it. He didn't like being in Cleveland or with the Browns, so he forced the team to trade or cut him. After failing to move him, they decided to release the wide receiver.
It will be interesting to see if Cooper will adjust to Cleveland to sign a long-term deal with the Browns or hit free agency next year? The Browns' performance on the field will determine Cooper's next move.
