Brandon Aiyuk broke his silence on the trade rumors surrounding his future on Friday on Instagram. The San Francisco 49ers wideout, who has been linked with a move to many teams including the Pittsburgh Steelers, dropped a blunt comment on a post from the SF Niners that suggested that he restarted negotiations with the 49ers on a long-term contract.
"Brad, Niners be in the media every day lol, it's two options out there pick one and stop dropping reports simple," Aiyuk wrote in response to the IG post.
When Steelers beat writer Nick Farabaugh pointed out Aiyuk's response on X, several frustrated fans reacted to the 49ers star's remark.

"Is he good enough to be doing this?" one tweeted.
"This is exhausting," another tweeted.
"I'm tired," tweeted a third.
Some confused fans also expressed their feelings on Aiyuk's stance.
"I’ve seen enough. Aiyuk is a Steeler (probably not)," one tweeted.
"This is why I’m not believing anything until he’s actually signed or traded," tweeted another.
"I thought BA only spoke directly to the guy from the Fan with all the Sources?" a user tweeted.
Aiyuk had reportedly been discussing an extension with the 49ers all offseason. However, when negotiations stalled, the wideout requested a trade last month.
Around that time, Aiyuk expressed his frustrations at a leaked report suggesting the 49ers offered him a contract worth a reported $26 million per year.
Brandon Aiyuk reportedly squashed potential trade to Cleveland Browns
On Saturday, reports claimed that the Cleveland Browns had pulled out of the race to sign Brandon Aiyuk. The Browns had reportedly agreed to offer the 49ers Amari Cooper, a second-round pick, and a fifth-round pick in exchange for Aiyuk.
However, it appears that Aiyuk quashed the move since he didn't want to play in Cleveland.
Now, with the NFL preseason underway, the Aiyuk saga rolls on.
