Gus Edwards has been on the sidelines for most of this season with the Baltimore Ravens. After missing time with injury last year, the running back was hopeful to get healthy this season. In the absence of J.K. Dobbins, the Ravens have needed help at running back, but haven't gotten a ton of it from their injured back.
With an upcoming matchup against the Carolina Panthers and their strong front four, the Ravens will need all aspects of their incredibly dynamic rushing attack.
Is Gus Edwards playing this week?
The running back is currently listed as questionable on the injury report, which means there's a good chance he'll play Sunday. The bye week last week, after he was inactive the week before, should also improve his chances.

He'll continue to practice this week and will test it all before the game on Sunday, but it does look like he might play this week.
Where is Gus Edwards playing this week?
The running back is not known for his receiving prowess like some other NFL running backs, so he probably won't line up anywhere but in the backfield, either behind or to the side of quarterback Lamar Jackson.
Gus Edwards' Fantasy Update and Predictions
The running back is currently projected to score 9.3 points in ESPN PPR leagues. They figure he'll be the lead back if he is active, but that he will still split carries with Kenyan Drake. As always, Jackson is a rushing threat as well.
It's hard to count on any Ravens rusher that isn't Jackson given how deep they are at the position and how unique their rushing attack is. Still, there's a good chance he performs well since he did have 65 yards and two touchdowns in one of his two active games this season.
Gus Edwards Alternative Picks for your fantasy team
Given his injury and the depth in the Ravens' backfield, fantasy managers may want to look elsewhere for running back health.
If he can't go, then Drake would be the obvious next man up and would be the lead back with less competition for carries.
Latavius Murray gets a lot of touches in Denver and is projected to score 9.5, so a bit more than Edwards. He's only owned in 28.3% of ESPN leagues at the time of writing.
Jerrick McKinnon caught six of Patrick Mahomes' passes last week and is projected to score 8.9. He's available in 77.5% of ESPN leagues.
