Jason Derulo announced just days ago that he will be a part of the Super Bowl TikTok Tailgate challenge for the third straight year.
He and the Black Keys will perform before the Super Bowl LVII kickoff, but a wrench was recently thrown in the singer's plans.
He suffered a broken foot just a few weeks ago and has been receiving treatment and physical therapy to help speed up the healing process. With the big game just two weeks away, it still appears that Jason Derulo will perform at the TikTok Tailgate Challenge.

He recently performed in Dubai in the opening ceremony of the DP World ILT20 2023 game between the Abu Dhabi Knight Riders and the Dubai Capitals.
Derulo used crutches and a cane on stage while performing but still made it through the entire performance. That has everyone crossing their fingers that he could perform at Super Bowl LVII.
What happend to Jason Derulo?
TMZ Sports is reporting that three weeks ago singer Jason Derulo was playing basketball with friends.
He apparently went up for a rebound, and when he came back down, he landed on another person's foot. That caused a break in one of the bones in his foot and a torn ligament in his foot.
Doctors apparently determined that he didn't need surgery to repair the injury. He has been receiving treatments that involve injecting stem cells into the foot that allows the foot to heal faster. Derulo is also said to be undergoing physical therapy.
Who are the Super Bowl 2023 performers?
The Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show has been highly advertised in the last few months, with nine-time Grammy award winner Rihanna announcing that she will be performing. Rihanna, though, isn't the only award winning artist who will be performing at this year's Super Bowl.
The National Anthem will be performed by Grammy Award and Academy of Country Music Award-winning country music artist Chris Stapleton. Song writer, producer and R&B artist, "Babyface" will perform "America the Beautiful".
Actress and singer Ralph, who is well known for her role in Abbott Elementary, will perform “Lift Every Voice and Sing.” Tony Kotsur will perform the National Anthem in sign language.
That star studded list still doesn't include any surprise guests that Rihanna could have planned for her epic Super Bowl Halftime show. Kickoff for Super Bowl LVII will be at 6:30 pm on Sunday (February 12) 2023.
