Aaron Rodgers saw some of the lowest points earlier this season. However, when he faced Tua Tagovailoa on Christmas Day, the Dolphins quarterback was the first to blink. Three times, including an interception thrown to Jaire Alexander in a critical spot.

According to Sports Illustrated, after the game, the cornerback caught up with FOX reporter Pam Oliver. The reporter asked him to recall what happened with the interception. Alexander expressed shock that the quarterback missed as badly as he did:

“Oh man, that’s easy! So I’m just lining up. I see [Tyreek Hill] motion over … I see [Hill] coming across the field and I say ‘Oh snap, he’s fast.’ So I backed off, and when I backed off, I see him coming, he ran right in front of me and I was like, ‘Wow, is he really over-throwing it?’"

Aaron Rodgers' playoff hopes get a big boost on Christmas Day.

He continued, explaining what he did after securing the ball:

"Took it down the sideline, turned up with my guys and gave the football to a little kid wearing 23.”

No. 12 at Los Angeles Rams vs. Green Bay Packers

Despite months of struggling under.500, the 7-8 Packers have a chance to finish above.500 in the playoffs. In Week 11, the team was 4-7 and many had written them off. No. 12 was banged up, and the wide receivers were not on the same page as him.

However, since the emergence of rookie wide receiver Christian Watson, the team has gone 3-2 and is riding a three-game winstreak. If they win out, many pundits expect them to be in the playoffs. Next week, No. 12 faces the 12-3 Minnesota Vikings, who Rodgers lost to in Week 1.

To wrap up the year, the Detroit Lions will come to Green Bay amid their own playoff surge. Will No. 12 lead the Packers on a vintage late-season run to the playoffs?
