Tank Dell will not play against the Chargers on Saturday. The Texans' wideout is on the injury reserve list and has been ruled out for the rest of the season.

Dell suffered a season-ending knee injury in Houston's 27-19 defeat to the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 16. He caught a touchdown pass from CJ Stroud in the third quarter and remained on the ground in visible pain. Dell was then carted off the field.

A day after Dell's gruesome injury, Texans coach DeMeco Ryans announced that the player had suffered a dislocated knee that included a torn ACL and other damage.

On Thursday, Dell posted a photo of himself at the Texans' training facility on his Instagram story. The receiver had a large brace on his left leg as he continued his rehab.

How has Tank Dell performed this season?

Dell played in 14 games for the Texans before his knee injury. The wideout accumulated 667 yards and three touchdowns on 51 receptions. He also rushed for 43 yards on nine carries.

The Texans (10-7) will not have Dell for their playoff run.

The Texans have ruled out tight end Teagan Quitoriano (calf) and guard Shaq Mason (knee) for their wild-card game against the Chargers.
