The Dallas Cowboys are in for a big game this week against the Tennessee Titans, but may be without the services of Tony Pollard. The running back has been a revelation this year in tandem with Ezekiel Elliott, but might be out for an important game.
NFL reporter Tom Pelissero says he's questionable, but isn't expected to play.

"The Cowboys have their own injury issues. Linebacker Micah Parsons and running back Tony Pollard both listed as questionable... The status of Pollard is very much in doubt."
He continued:
"My understanding here is he's been dealing with this thigh injury, did not practice at all this week. They're going to put him through the early pre-game warmup tonight, but they're going to err on the side of caution here."
He added:
"If it's close, Pollard will not be out there, so we'll see exactly what happens in pre-game warmups, but it certainly seems like there will be a lot of Ezekiel Elliott."
The Cowboys are 10-4 and the Philadelphia Eagles are 12-2. A loss here would end their chances of winning the division. A win by the Eagles would, too, but the Cowboys aren't in control of that.
As a result, they need all hands on deck against a Tennessee Titans team suddenly fighting for their postseason lives. Unfortunately, that may not include Pollard.
He will test the thigh in warmups and there's a chance he could play, but with Elliott fully healthy, the Cowboys are not likely to take any risks.
Is Tony Pollard going to miss the rest of the regular season?
Since there are only two games remaining this year, any injuries sustained can be "season-ending," but for Tony Pollard that may not be the case. Pelissero suggests they're being overly cautious but that he's not even listed as out for tonight's game.
He might miss the matchup with the Titans and play next week. If the Cowboys lose or the division is out of reach by next week, they may rest Pollard anyway, but at the moment the injury is not considered season-ending.
