The Jacksonville Jaguars, led by a resurgent Trevor Lawrence, have found themselves in the midst of a very unlikely playoff push. They're 6-8 with three weeks left, but only trail the AFC South-leading Tennessee Titans by a single game with a matchup in Week 18 remaining.
The Jaguars have won back-to-back games over playoff teams to get to within a game of the division. This is thanks in no small part to the play of Lawrence, who has truly blossomed in his second NFL season.
Despite playing the last couple of weeks, Lawrence has been dealing with a toe injury that had him questionable for both contests. He's listed with the same injury status ahead of the Thursday Night Football clash with the New York Jets, who are also in the playoff hunt at 7-7. Is the star quarterback going to be able to suit up tonight?

Is Trevor Lawrence playing tonight?
Despite still being questionable due to a lingering toe injury, the expectation is that Lawrence will start tonight. Without him, the Jaguars would be forced to turn to backup C.J. Beathard for their slim playoff hopes.
However, that doesn't seem very likely as Lawrence has battled through injury for a couple of weeks and won't stop now.
Where is Trevor Lawrence playing tonight?
The second-year star out of Clemson University will be playing quarterback. He will take most of his offensive snaps under center or in shotgun, though a trick play might take shape at some point.
Trevor Lawrence Fantasy Update and Predictions
With his health not likely to keep him out, some fantasy managers may be looking to him for their playoff matchups. It's a crucial time of the year and having the best players starting is paramount.
Lawrence unfortunately faces a tough matchup. The Jets have been stingy on defense, allowing the eight-fewest points to opposing signal-callers. Sauce Gardner will likely shut down one side of the field, too.
ESPN projects him to score 16.2 points, so there might be better options, but it's hard to bench a QB on such a hot streak.
Trevor Lawrence Alternative Picks for your Fantasy Team
If he is unable to play or managers want a better matchup, Aaron Rodgers faces the Miami Dolphins, who give up the second-most points to quarterbacks.
Zach Wilson gets to face the Jaguars defense, who are ranked 27th against quarterbacks.
