Diontae Johnson will be back in Baltimore, but that does not mean the Baltimore Ravens have taken him back. The Houston Texans claimed Johnson after the Ravens released him on Friday (Dec. 21). However, the Texans' next game is against the Ravens, so he must wait until Friday to play against his former teammates.
The Ravens were forced to cut Johnson when he refused to play for the team during Week 13 of the regular season. As a result, the wide receiver was suspended during Week 15 and has just one catch to his name during his entire stint with the Ravens after he jumped ship from the Carolina Panthers mid-season. Before the Panthers, he had played with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Hence, this will be his fourth team this calendar year and third this season. Fans weren't too happy with him switching teams so often and took to X (formerly Twitter) to voice their opinions on Diontae Johnson's future.

One fan said that his stint with the Texans would not end well.
"I know they need him, but I don't think it will end well."
Another fan said that the wide receiver would thrive in Houston.
"He’s about to cook"
Other fans also chimed in with their reaction to the news.
"This is good. The Texans could use them. They’ll have a revenge game against the ravens next week," one fan said.
"This will hurt the Texans more than help them. Mark my words," another fan warned.
"Pretty solid pickup, hopefully they don’t just use him as a run blocker 😂😂," one fan remarked.
"Well guess it's better then nothing i guess 😆 hopefully he is decent for us 😆," another fan hoped.
Diontae Johnson will fill in for Tank Dell
The Texans lost their star wideout, Tank Dell, to a season-ending injury during their 19-27 defeat at the hands of the Kansas City Chiefs. Tank Dell meant so much to the team that QB CJ Stroud broke down into tears during the game itself when Dell sustained the injury. Dell was taken to a nearby hospital in an ambulance.
The other star receiver of the team, Stefon Diggs, is also out for the season due to an ACL injury. The Texans have already made it to the playoffs and will need Diontae Johnson to fill in for the two giant voids left by Diggs and Dell.
