J.J. McCarthy may not have played a single snap or thrown the ball even once during the regular season for the Minnesota Vikings, but he regularly posts his reactions to team news on his Instagram.

This year, the Vikings have emerged as the second-best team in the NFC going into the final week of the regular season. Their opponent in the season finale? The best team in the conference - the Detroit Lions. The winner of Sunday's clash will determine which team will win the number one seed in the NFC.

The game will be played in the Lions' home stadium Ford Field. To combat the overwhelming number of Lions fans, the Vikings owners have reportedly bought 1,900 tickets to the game at a whopping sum of $2 million.

Fans who held season tickets were given the chance to win those tickets for as low as $200 via email, even though the original price of some of the tickets was as high as $1,000. Now, Ford Field is expected to have a considerable size of purple among the Lions' blue.

He captioned the post, "Two headed monsta."

Jon Gruden and J.J. Watt make their feelings known regarding J.J. MCCarthy's future

A fan on X asked if the Vikings would be better off trading J.J. McCarthy for a top-five pick since they seemed to be doing pretty well with Sam Darnold and McCarthy was still unproven. However, former Las Vegas Raiders coach Jon Gruden said that the team shouldn't let him go.

"I wouldn't let him leave in 1 million years," he wrote.

Even former Arizona Cardinals player J.J. Watt was of the opinion that the team should retain both McCarthy and Darnold.

"This is way too damn hard to find a quarterback that fits what you want to do that can be successful in this league. I would much rather have the bird in the hand, versus two in the bush," Watt said.

Will the Vikings witness a major change in their QB position during the offseason? And how much will a possible Super Bowl win affect those decisions?
