J.J. Watt doesn't seem to be sitting on the fence while Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin makes his decision on who to start against the Las Vegas Raiders – Justin Fields or Russell Wilson.

Ahead of the Sunday night game, Justin Fields was asked about Tomlin opening up the QB competition. His answer seemed to impress Watt, a former star defensive end, so much that he reposted the video and showered high praise on Fields.

"Man, what an answer from a guy who is 4-2 and gave them a legitimate chance to be 5-1 right now," Watt said. "Poise, maturity, class. Hard to not be a fan."

In the video, Fields told reporters that the only reason Tomlin felt the need to have a conversation over his starting QB was because of his play.

"I don't think I played good enough, if I'm being real with you," Fields said. "If I'm being real myself, I think if I did play well enough, I don't think there would be any sort of, who should be playing, who should not."

J.J. Watt raises eyebrows at Tom Brady's becoming Raiders shareholder

On a recent episode of the "Pat McAfee Show," J.J. Watt, an analyst for "The NFL Today," expressed his views on Tom Brady being allowed to own a stake in the Las Vegas NFL team, despite Brady's role as a color analyst for Fox, which signed him on a $375 million, 10-year contract.

"I also have the question of how strict are these (rules), who's following them? ... The production meetings and those meetings the day before the game, where you get information from coaches and players and everything, those are a big part of the broadcast and what they talk about," Watt said.
"It's crucial to the game. ... So, I would be curious how closely ... And then not being allowed to criticize game officials and other clubs, that's the other one. That's like, 'All right, what does that mean? Where's the line?' I don't know."

It remains to be seen how the NFL GOAT will juggle these two titles together which have a clear conflict of interest and how far he'll be able to operate within the NFL's rules.
