The Jacksonville Jaguars started the season off hot and looked to be a sure playoff team. However, as we enter Week 8 of the 2022-23 NFL season, they are some way away from contending for a playoff berth.
Jacksonville started the season 2-1, but are currently 2-5, losing their last four games.
Jaguars linebacker Shaquille Quarterman spoke with the Sportskeeda team in an exclusive interview. He talked about what the Jags have to do in order to get back on the winning track. He said that the team has to wake up and look at the bigger picture and work even harder.

Quarterman said:
“I think it’s all about us. Coach Pederson preaches it, and I’m an advocate behind that. Us starts with I. When I wake up in the morning, or as we wake up in the morning, I ask everybody to take just a small minute or two to look in the mirror and proclaim what type of day it’s going to be for them."
He continued:
"It’s just that we haven’t had the fruit. Our harvest hasn’t beared the fruit. We definitely cooking. It’s hard enough to be positive away from the sport of football because life is just hard in general, so with this I think you’ve got to cling to it.”
The Jacksonville Jaguars have a chance to get back on track Sunday vs. Denver Broncos
The Jaguars will have a chance to break their slump this Sunday vs. the Denver Broncos. Jacksonville is hosting Denver in London, and kickoff is set for 9:30 AM ET.
They lost their first game to the Washington Commanders. However, they followed up the loss by defeating the Indianapolis Colts and Los Angeles Chargers in back-to-back weeks.
The team then lost to the Philadelphia Eagles, Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, and the New York Giants. Each of their losses has been by eight or fewer points.
The Jags now have a chance to end their drought in front of many of their London fans.
