During the divisional round game against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday (Jan.19), Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts was taken down during a play where his left leg was pinned under him. Hurts stayed in the game despite the awkward hit but didn't attempt another run aside from a QB kneel.
As the Philadelphia Eagles prepare to host NFC East foe, the Washington Commanders, all eyes are on Hurts's knee and how much it will affect him this weekend.
Despite his knee injury progressing, Jalen Hurts anticipates wearing a knee brace during Sunday's game.
"It's been progressing, like coach said," Hurts said.

Prior to the play where Hurts landed awkwardly on his leg, he had six carries for 71 yards against the Rams. In the Eagles's wildcard victory against Green Bay, Hurts had a 45-yard touchdown run. The hit impacted his mobility, which is a concern for Philly heading into Sunday's game.
Jalen Hurts may not be 100 percent heading into the conference championship game but with a big game on the line, there's no way he would miss it if he could play. It will be interesting to see how much it impacts his mobility against a Washington defense that's familiar with him, having already played against the Eagles twice this season.
