Philadelphia Eagles fans were surprised after AJ Brown made some telling comments about the offense and what's the issue for the team in recent weeks. The former Tenessee Titans wide receiver has been the Eagles' No. 1 weapon, but his recent remarks turned heads on social media.

After Philadelphia's 22-16 win against the Carolina Panthers, Brown was asked by reporters what the offense needs to work on moving forward, with the veteran pointing out one aspect of the game.

"Passing," Brown responded.

Brown kept responding with one-liners, showing that he wasn't happy with the development of the game.

Fans quickly reacted to Browns' words and tried to read between the lines and see what the veteran meant with those comments. Some said he was throwing shade at quarterback Jalen Hurts.

"Passing lol. Aka hurts can’t throw for shit," one fan said.
"Translation: Jalen needs to be better," another fan said
"This is VERY telling. Real his body language and the way he’s speaking. These guys are tired of hurts. They want a passing qb," another fan wrote.

One fan agreed with AJ Brown's sentiment, noting that there was an issue for the Eagles, but another reminded people that Jalen Hurts has shown off his passing skills over and over again.

"AJ Brown 4-43, Devonta Smith 4-37. Against the Carolina Panthers at home. There is a problem," one fan said.
"Man yall acting like we ain’t see Jalen sling the ball before for 300+ yards chill outt we do what we need to win," another fan said.

One fan went after AJ Brown and called him out for thinking about himself after the team secured a win.

Philly had a hard time trying to unlock the Carolina Panthers' offense, but their rushing game fixed the situation and led the Eagles to the 11th victory of the season.

Revisiting different Eagles' passing and rushing games against the Panthers?

Nick Sirianni has adopted a run-first offense, especially after Saquon Barkley joined the team and started shining and looking like a solid MVP candidate. Between Barkley, Hurts and Kenneth Gainwell, the Eagles collected 209 rushing yards, while they barely racked up 83 passing yards (including 43 for AJ Brown).

The NFC East franchise will have a tough challenge against the Pittsburgh Steelers next week, and they'll need both the rushing and passing game to defeat another dangerous team.
