Jason Kelce brings Christmas cheer to local community, sends gifts to all children under Philly's public school system

Former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce helped bring Christmas joy to children in his local community. In a post on X, Kelce shared a link and a clip of the annual "Operation Snowball" initiative that he created with the mission of gifting every child enrolled in Philadelphia Public Schools a gift this holiday season.

Kelce was joined by former Eagles teammates Jordan Mailata and Lane Johnson. The trio calls themselves the "Philly Specials" and raises money each year through proceeds from their annual Christmas album.

In the social media post, Jason Kelce thanked everyone who bought the album which benefited "Operation Snowball". He also revealed that every child in the school system did in fact receive a gift.

"Thanks to all of you who bought the record and supported Operation Snowball, we were able to get A GIFT TO EVERY STUDENT IN THE PHILLY PUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEM. This Link https://youtu.be/G0V-K7Fbe-E shows how it was all possible, and shows some happy faces along the way. Hope you all had a Merry Christmas," Kelce wrote in a post on X.

Kelce shared the video of the caravan that involved nine vehicles and a police escort that visited each school in Philadelphia delivering the gifts. While the younger students received toys and board games, the older students received gift cards and winter gear.

Jason Kelce shared that he and Travis Kelce used to give their mom the same gift every Christmas

Travis Kelce and his older brother Jason Kelce had a special holiday episode of their podcast "New Heights" this past week. Jason's wife Kylie joined the duo for the episode.

During the episode, the Kelce's took voicemails from listeners who were looking for advice. One listener called in and asked what she should do to tell a loved one that they aren't a good gift giver.

Jason Kelce said that this is tricky because you have to be careful how you tell them. He then revealed that he and Travis Kelce used to give their mom, Donna Kelce, the same gift every Christmas, until she told them that they could get her something else.

Jason : (58:10) “She said, ‘You guys don’t have to get me the same thing every Christmas.'"

His wife Kylie then chimed in by saying what gift the Kelce brothers were so well-known for gifting their mother.

Kylie: “Earrings and candles."

The Kelce brothers didn't reveal what gift they gave their mom instead of earrings or candles but, she is apparently happy with what she receives now.
