Jason Kelce has the Super Bowl matchup of his dreams. For the second time in three years, the final game of the NFL season will be decided by the Philadelphia Eagles, Jason's former team, and the Kansas City Chiefs, the team of his younger brother, tight end Travis Kelce.
When the Eagles and the Chiefs met in Super Bowl LVII, Jason was on the Eagles' roster. Like his brother, he was a First-Team All-Pro that year. In the end, the Chiefs scored a late game-winning field goal to win 38-35 and take home their second trophy in four seasons.
Even though Jason retired before the 2024 season, he's still involved with the Eagles. After they defeated the Washington Commanders 55-23, cementing their third Super Bowl appearance in eight seasons, the former center celebrated the NFC title on X.
"Well that was fun, these dudes are ridiculously good! GO FUCKING BIRDS!!" he wrote.

Playing from 2012 to 2023, Kelce made the First-Team All-Pro six times. He was considered undersized for the center position but his intelligence and his athleticism made up for it. During the 2017 season, he was a starter for the Eagles team that won the franchise's first-ever Super Bowl.
When Jason Kelce made a legendary speech at the Super Bowl parade after the Eagles' championship
The former center starred as a player, but Jason Kelce fell into the grace of Eagles' fans fresh off their Super Bowl LII win over the New England Patriots.
Speaking to the crowd four days after Philadelphia won the Super Bowl, Jason started his speech by talking about the underdog mentality that vested the Eagles in the 2017 season. However, over the course of a six-minute speech, he changed from a calm tone to screaming loudly and beating the platform.
Kelce went on a rant about many doubters of that team, which was affected by a late-season injury to star quarterback Carson Wentz. He went on to call out former NFL executive Michael Lombardi, who he dubbed as a "clown," and named Doug Pederson "the least-ever qualified head coach in the history of the league".
The public fully bought into the speech. The Eagles will now play for their second Super Bowl ring in New Orleans, Louisiana, on February 9th. Seeing his old team playing against his brother will make him proud of whoever wins.
