Jason Kelce shares ‘only advice’ he had for wife Kylie for ‘killing it’ in podcasting career

Jason Kelce's wife Kylie has received massive success in her podcasting career in a short span. Kylie Kelce's "Not Gonna Lie" podcast has beat "The Joe Rogan Experience" for the first spot in the Spotify rankings. In addition to that, NGL has also been nominated for the 2025 iHeart Podcast Awards.

Interestingly, Jason Kelce might have a secret hand behind the success of Kylie's podcast. The retired NFL star sat in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE on Wednesday, during which he revealed his advice to Kylie for "killing it" in her podcasting career. Sharing details into the same, Kelce said:

"She's killing it. Doesn't surprise me one bit. She's been the smartest one in the family for a long time. People have been asking her point of view for a long time. And whenever she comes on our podcast, those episodes are usually the highest viewed. So I expected her to do well and hopefully that continues.

"The only advice I gave her was, 'Make sure you do what you want to do with the show.' It takes a lot of people, especially to do a podcast or anything that's recorded. You work with a lot of people that are experts in their fields," Kelce further added.

Kelce highlighted how the podcaster is an "authentic" and "very real" person, which comes out as a factor of attraction. Sharing details into the same, the ex-NFL star said:

"I think she's authentic to who she is. I think Kylie is a very authentic person. I think she's very real. And I think that that makes people connect with her. And I think that she's very smart, she's funny, she's charismatic, she's beautiful. So I think when you combine all those traits, people tend to like listening to her."
