Jason Kelce, who is a retired NFL center, is outpacing Travis Kelce in securing jobs off the field. That's what NFL Analyst Billy Gil opined on The Dan Le Batard Show.
Gil feels Jason at 37 could have easily played for a year or two more but bidding goodbye to the league was a strategic move on his end. This is because the 2018 Super Bowl champion wanted to capitalize on the media spotlight by diving into multiple ventures. These include his ESPN gig, late-night show, and his podcast with younger brother and Chiefs TE, Travis Kelce, “New Heights.”
Gil added how, with time, Jason's increasing presence in the entertainment industry will only increase. It is something that Travis will miss out on because, at 35, he is still in his playing days. By the time he retires, these opportunities will dry up.

“Kelce name has a certain pull at the moment, right? And you know a lot of it is tied to Taylor Swift. They had a very successful podcast as it was, but, you know, obviously the Taylor Effect helped with that situation. That’s going to last as long as it lasts. I think Jason realized this may not last forever. So, he got out of football...Jason’s just going to keep getting all these jobs,” Gil said.

That said, Gil clarified that he is not criticizing the three-time Super Bowl champion, who is on his way to win a three-peat.
"I’m not saying that Travis Kelce’s washed," he insisted.
However, what Gil said is not completely true because Travis Kelce has several high-profile projects lined up for him.
Travis Kelce is making strides in Hollywood

Even if the Kansas City Chiefs star wants to wind down his career, let's say after winning the Super Bowl three-peat, he has many good gigs to fall back on.
Apart from the super-hit "New Heights" podcast, Kelce has some other top-notch projects that NFL fans are excited about. They include producing "My Dead Friend Zoe", hosting the Prime Video game show "Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?" and starring in the action-packed movie "Loose Cannons". Additionally, he also has a role in the upcoming films "Grotesquerie" and "Happy Gilmore 2".
So, from an optimistic point of view, there’s no need for Travis to worry about missing out. While Jason is thriving in the spotlight post-NFL career with the Eagles, Travis is balancing both his football success and Hollywood gigs.
Both of them are tasting success—albeit in different arenas.
