Sean Payton, Bo Nix and the Denver Broncos offensive unit cooked up a special play to surprise the Baltimore Ravens today (Nov. 3) when they were down 10-0 with 7:21 left in the second quarter. After reaching the red zone, the Broncos tried to score without any success in the first three attempts.

When everything suggested they would go for the field goal after Nix couldn't connect with his receiver on 3rd and goal, the Broncos didn't leave the field and came up with a trick play that ended with Courtland Sutton connecting with his quarterback for a 2-yard touchdown pass.

Fans went crazy after this play, and some even said that Nix is deserving of the 2024 Offensive Rookie of the Year award. Somebody even said that Jayden Daniels couldn't do what he just did.

"Roty!!!! Jayden McDaniels can’t do that," one fan said.

Others praised the rookie quarterback and admitted that they weren't fond of him at the beginning of the season.

"Man Bo is growing on me, I thought it was a dumb pick at first ngl," one fan wrote.
"He's balling lmao," another fan wrote.
"Lowkey seen enough he’s leading them to a Super Bowl before long," another fan said.

More fans joked about the possibility of Nix playing as a wide receiver.

The Denver Broncos looked lost before this score. The Ravens were shutting them down, and despite his passing attempts to the end zone, he couldn't find solid hands to catch the pass. He had to do it himself, and the result was brilliant. Despite the Ravens scoring again, the Broncos entered halftime 24-10 down, but they looked competitive enough to put pressure on the Ravens.

Bo Nix has seemingly found his rhythm within Sean Payton's offense

After a tumultuous season with Russell Wilson under center, the Denver Broncos selected Nix with the No. 12 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. This decision wasn't met with good eyes, and once the season started, it looked like the Broncos had missed another big chance again.

Nix was intercepted four times in his first three games. His first passing touchdown came against the New York Jets in a tight 10-9 win. Ever since that moment, he started playing better, throwing two passing touchdowns against the Las Vegas Raiders and LA Chargers in consecutive seasons before going off on the Carolina Panthers with three touchdowns last week.

He's yet to find the end zone with his passes today, but he already did it as a receiver.
