Jerry Jones’ South Park parody: When Dallas Cowboys owner was portrayed in most scandalous way ever

Jerry Jones has been the butt of many jokes in his career with the team, but, predictably, Trey Parker and Matt Stone's South Park took the cake for the most offensive portrayal of the owner. It came in an episode of the show that, for one reason or another, showed a portrayal of a Cowboys game.

In a brief nine-second clip posted on YouTube by content creator Joeyshakes 72 in 2018, the owner is seen looking on from the owner's box. It portrays him with eyes looking opposite ways, insinuating that he has a mental handicap. Also, near the end of a clip, a woman arises from below the bar, insinuating NSFW acts were being committed.

Put simply, if one was attempting to tick off the owner in any way possible, this might be the most efficient way to do so. Of course, while the owner has taken a sun's worth of heat over the course of his life, the cartoon portrayal sets a bar that might be impossible to top.

Jerry Jones bought the team in 1989, eight years before the first episode of South Park aired in 1997. Initially, the Dallas Cowboys surged to the top of the league. Between 1989 and 1995, the team won three Super Bowl titles, but came up short in the 1994 NFC Championship game to the eventual champion San Francisco 49ers.

While the fire burned bright initially, the team soon fell into a rut. Since the last title in 1995, the team has not advanced beyond the divisional round of the playoffs. Unlike many other franchises with similar struggles, the Cowboys have put together several quality regular seasons during that time.

In 2021 and 2022, Jones' team won 12 games in back-to-back seasons. However, come playoff time, they failed to survive longer than one playoff game.
