Breece Hall called out a tweet after the New York Jets managed to win 32-20 over the Miami Dolphins in a season finale. “Optimistic Jets,” a fan account, ahead of the Week 18 game, predicted the Jets’ win would be “another meaningless game” that would cost them a precious draft position.

"Jets are going to win another meaningless game at the end of the year and mess up their draft position. Unreal," read the full tweet.

Jets’ running back didn’t mince words when responding to criticism. Clearly frustrated, he reposted it with a fiery retort:

“And if we would’ve lost you would be talkin S**t per usual. Like STFU...”

As the fan account pointed out, the win against the Dolphins puts the Jets in a precarious position regarding their 2025 NFL Draft pick. Entering the game, they were projected to have the No. 7 overall selection. The win likely drops them to No. 8 due to tiebreaker scenarios.

For the Miami Dolphins, who were without QB Tua Tagovailoa for the second consecutive game, the loss dashed their slim playoff hopes.

Breece Hall’s bold call about Aaron Rodgers' stay with the Jets for 2025

After winning in Week 18, Breece Hall made it clear where his loyalties lie by reposting New York Jets legend, Joe Namath's tweet about Aaron Rodgers' tenure with the team.

“After watching Aaron Rodgers play today, there’s no doubt he’s got at least another year in him,” Namath's tweet read. “So if he WANTS to, I’d love to see him stay with the Jets. He could definitely help the new GM and coach, as well as play ball. He’s still throwing with accuracy and authority.”

Namath's statement came after Aaron Rodgers commanded attention on the field.

Completing 23 of 36 passes for 273 yards and four TDs, A-Rod could bring out the flashes of his prime. In fact, he tossed an early interception on his first throw.

The highlight was his 500th career score pass to tight end Tyler Conklin. It made him only the fifth quarterback in NFL history to reach the milestone.

Following this, Rodgers pulled off a six-yard strike to Breece Hall. Post-game, A-Rod said:

“Just a lot of gratitude for the ability to be healthy this season, all the people that put me in the position to be able to start 17 games. There’s time for other emotions, but I’m just thankful for the performance and the guys that made plays tonight."

Talking about his uncertain future with the Jets following a turbulent season, he said that he will not be offended by any decision owner Woody Johnson makes.
