Jets' Garrett Wilson delivers clear 2-word verdict on Bryce Young's roller-coaster 2024 season

Garrett Wilson might have just indicated where he would like to land should Aaron Rodgers return to the New York Jets in 2025. There were rumors that Wilson would request a trade from the Jets if the 4x NFL MVP returned to the organization next season. However, the wide receiver later clarified that his relationship with his QB was going well.

"There's no truth to that," Wilson said. "At the end of the day, I don't speak on things like that because social media is not real.

However, we may know where Wilson would like to end up if he chooses to leave the Jets due to Rodgers or many other reasons, such as the team's mismanagement and staff problems.

Garrett Wilson reacted to a video on X (formerly Twitter). The video shows highlights from Bryce Young's 2024 season with the Carolina Panthers. The account - Blande - posted the video and captioned it, " He might be better than we thought."

Garett Wilson replied to the post with, "He is."

Could it be likely that after complaining that he wasn't being given the ball enough and enough opportunities to score, he might request a trade and end up with Bryce Young in the Panthers?

Even if it's not because of Aaron Rodgers, Garrett Wilson might not want to stay in New York anymore. When asked whether he would be signing a contract extension with the Jets in late December, he answered that it didn't seem like he might be there next season.

"I don't know man," Wilson explained. "I just figure—I just do whatever, you know, whatever. Go about my day however, be where my feet at, you know?"

He also added that should the Jets extend his contract, he would be happy to stay with the team.

"If they do it, I would be blessed and that would be awesome. I love the Jets," he added. "At the end of the day, they were the first ones that believed in me. So yeah, you know. I can't be worrying about all that. Just going to finish these three games the right way. But, I don't know man I can't be looking into all that right now, you know?"

ESPN's Rich Cimni, however, dropped the news that the wide receiver will ask for a trade after the season ends. Now that the Jets have entered the offseason, could they lose Garrett Wilson to the Panthers?
