CJ Stroud overcomes first-quarter deficit to destroy Jim Harbaugh's Chargers
The Los Angeles Chargers were, on paper, better than the Houston Texans - and not just by record despite being the Wild Card (11-6 vs. 10-7). They had more prolific contributors in their roster - from quarterback Justin Herbert all the way to kicker Cameron Dicke.

But on Saturday, all those advantages were for naught, as they were destroyed 32-12 at NRG Stadium. That led to jokes that head coach Jim Harbaugh could not defeat CJ Stroud "clean" - an allusion to when he was head coach at Michigan and thus battled the quarterback's Ohio State Buckeyes and the Wolverine's sign-stealing scandal. The defeat marks the first time Harbaugh has failed to reach at least the conference title game after making the playoffs, which he did in three straight seasons with the San Francisco 49ers.
