It's safe to say that the Houston Texans surprised more than a few fans after beating the No. 5 seed Los Angeles Chargers in the first round of the NFL playoffs on Saturday. The Texans entered Wild Card Weekend without marquee trade addition Stefon Diggs and electric playmaker Tank Dell owing to long-term injuries.

Despite being shorthanded on offense, the Texans defense showed up, forcing four INTs to turn the tide and pick up a thoroughly impressive 32-12 win over Jim Harbaugh's Chargers.

Harbaugh's son James was also paying keen attention to the proceedings as the Chargers made the playoffs in the head coach's first year with the team. While James Harbaugh was understandably hyped to support the Chargers, the turn of events led to some sour memories at the end of the day.

"Ouch," Harbaugh wrote on an Instagram story after LA's loss to Houston.

Where do Jim Harbaugh's Los Angeles Chargers go from here?

The Chargers cleaned house in the offseason, letting Keenan Allen, Mike Williams and Austin Ekeler all walk. But they will also have more than a few decisions to make this summer. EDGE Khalil Mack, DT Poona Ford, DT Morgan Fox, LB Denzel Perryman, DB Elijah Molden, RB JK Dobbins, WR Joshua Palmer, C Bradley Bozeman and P JK Scott are all slated to hit free agency this year.

The Chargers will also have to give tackle Rashawn Slater a mammoth contract extension and get Justin Herbert some help in the WR room.

While the Cincinnati Bengals appear intent on keeping Tee Higgins in town, the Chargers would serve as an ideal landing spot for the young playmaker if the Bengals can't afford to give him a hefty pay raise.

The Chargers have eight picks in the 2025 NFL Draft with dire needs at WR, IOL and TE.

In his latest mock draft, Sportskeeda's resident draft expert Tony Pauline sees the Chargers going with Colston Loveland, the tight end out of Michigan. Harbaugh, of course, coached Loveland with the Wolverines before leaving Ann Arbor to coach Justin Herbert.
