The Green Bay Packers put all their faith in Jordan Love as the heir to Aaron Rodgers' throne in 2023 and they only doubled down on that move by handing their franchise quarterback a $220 million deal on Friday night. Jordan Love started just one full season for the Packers but the franchise saw enough to crown him as the NFL's highest-paid QB alongside Joe Burrow and Tua Tagovailoa.
Jordan Love's deal was preceded by the Dolphins' announcement of Tua Tagovailoa's new deal which clocks in at $212.4 million at an average annual value of $53.1 million. Interestingly, both Love and Tagovailoa are represented by Athletes First, which goes a long way in explaining the timing of their deals.
In any case, it's time for celebrations over in Milwaukee and Jordan Love's fiancée Ronika Stone needed no reminder of the fact that her partner is the NFL's highest-paid player. Stone took to Instagram to celebrate Love's new deal, posting a story and giving him a new nickname saying:

NFL's highest-paid QB's after Jordan Love's $220 million contract
Going by Over the Cap numbers, here's how the list of the NFL's highest-paid QBs shakes out after Jordan Love's new deal.
Kirk Cousins' $45 million-a-year deal with the Atlanta Falcons and Patrick Mahomes' $45 million-a-year deal technically fall outside the top 10, though if we're going by total annual value, Mahomes' $450 million deal is still well clear of the next-best (Joe Burrow and Trevor Lawrence at $275M each).
Given both Jordan Love and Tua Tagovailoa have officially joined the $50M-a-year club, attention now turns to the Dallas Cowboys and Dak Prescott who have still not reached an agreement over a new deal for the MVP contender.
The Cowboys also have to dole out deals to CeeDee Lamb and Micah Parsons, though Jerry Jones and Stephen Jones' latest comments did not quite inspire confidence among Cowboys fans. For his part, Dak Prescott left the door open to playing for another team in the near future.
