Jordan Love became a shocking revelation for the Green Bay Packers in 2023, taking a very young and inexperienced 9-8 squad all the way to the Divisional Round. But if his halftime performance on Sunday was an indication, the 2024 season might be the opposite.
During the second quarter of the Wild Card game at the Philadelphia Eagles, the second-year starting quarterback threw two interceptions en route to an 0-10 shutout - first from cornerback Darius Slay at the beginning, then from linebacker Zack Baun near the end.
There was much mockery of the Packers QB in the aftermath:

More of the sentiments can be seen below:
"Perhaps JUST PERHAPS Jordan Love might not be Him," one wondered.
"Jordan is trash. PLEASE PUT WILLIS IN," another begged.
"Jordan Love is the Daniel Jones of the packers," another's comparison went.
The Eagles, who had scored on a Jahan Dotson catch and a field goal in the first quarter, could not capitalize on either pick and were forced to punt on each of the ensuing drives.
UPDATE: Jordan Love finished the game throwing 3 interceptions, with the thrid one coming in the fourth quarter. The Packers lost the game 22-10 in the wild card round, ending their Super Bowl hopes.
How many interceptions has Packers QB Jordan Love thrown in his career?
Over his career, Jordan Love has thrown 31 interceptions - 25 in the regular season and six in the postseason.
Love did not play at all in his 2020 debut, as Aaron Rodgers dominated the competition en route to his third MVP award. In 2021, he finally got to play six games, even starting one of them. But he was mediocre, throwing three picks against two touchdowns, and he was back to cleanup duty in 2022, throwing just one score.
That all changed in 2023. After months of speculation, Rodgers was traded to the New York Jets. Love took his place and was shockingly good, throwing eleven interceptions against 32 touchdowns in the regular season.
In the Wild Card upset win at the Dallas Cowboys, he was clean, throwing three touchdowns against no picks and almost achieving the perfect passer rating of 158.3. But he crumbled in the Divisional Round at the San Francisco 49ers, he wilted, being picked off twice, one of them occurring at the end of the game with the Green Bay Packers down 21-24. He blamed himself afterward:
“Play broke down, I was scrambling right, saw Christian (Watson) over the middle, and tried to force one into him. I thought I could make the play. I didn't see the backside.”
Love would have another 11-pick outing in the 2024 season, but throw only 25 touchdowns for comparison. However, he did help in attaining a career-best, 11-6 record, as a starter.
