As the Miami Dolphins prepare for the upcoming season, its star safety, Jordan Poyer, missed six training practices. Poyer's absence didn't go unnoticed by fans, which got them wondering the reason behind it.

Replying to a fan concerned about Poyer's absence on X (formerly Twitter), his wife, Rachel Bush, shared an update on her husband's absence from six practice sessions.

"It’s his thumb smh. Not concerning at all. All pro player going hard and showing that in practice so of course that’s bound to happen," Bush wrote.

"Not to mention he finished practice that day AND still had a pick with his thumb the way it was. 10/10 always," Bush added.

Rachel Bush has been in the limelight for a while now for her take on mainstream controversial topics. Most recently, she made highlights for sharing criticism towards Megan Thee Stallion's performance at Kamala Harris' political rally.

Rapper Megan Thee Stallion performed at Kamala Harris' political rally in Atlanta on July 30, and Jordan Poyer's wife, Rachel Bush, was least impressed with the move. The model shared her criticism of Stallion's performance with a cryptic tweet.

"Call me crazy, but singing about someone "eating it up" at a political event isn't very appealing, nor is it a good representation of this nation. I also would like to add it is rather belittling if this is what they think appeals to Atlanta voters," Bush said.

Interestingly, it's not the first time that Bush shared her take on political subjects. When an assassination attempt was made on former President Donald Trump last month, Bush shared her reaction on Instagram.

"United, we should stand. Every American today should have something to say or at least be sharing their condolences. If you're going to continue on about your day, posting whatever on IG currently, acting like you can't share a post because a former President has been labeled as a 'controversial figure,' know that you are living history," Bush said.

Bush also fired shots at Joe Biden after he talked shared a tweet about Trump. In another post in June, the model called Biden a "puppet."
