One of the more surprising revelations from Aaron Rodgers' new Netflix series 'Enigma,' was Miami Dolphins safety Jordan Poyer's appearance. The veteran was seen sitting alongside the New York Jets quarterback during an intriguing scene filmed while they were on an Ayahuasca retreat in Brazil.
While some have expressed their disdain about Rodgers and Poyer openly advocating for the use of a psychedelic drug, the safety's wife Rachel Bush came to her husband's defense.
In a Q-and-A on her Instagram profile, she was asked to give her take about the Dolphins star's brief appearance on the show. She claimed she had no problem with Rodgers and Poyer's psychedelic retreat, writing:
"Two great guys recognizing that they needed to put in work in order to be the best versions of themselves. Sometimes what society labels as important, isn't all that important in reality. Everything is great in moderation. I totally commend these two on their journey."

Not only does Bush not have any qualms about her husband's trip to Brazil with the Jets superstar, but she claims it has helped their relationship. She added:
"I can attest to the fact that my relationship is so much stronger now because my husband worked on healing himself. A relationship can only be healthy when you first create your own happiness and heal yourself. I know there's more you'll be able to see over time once its' all released."
Jordan Poyer in Enigma: Safety expressed gratitude for Aaron Rodgers
In the second episode of 'Enigma,' Aaron Rodgers revealed that Jordan Poyer went on an Ayahuasca retreat to Costa Rica after seeing the quarterback talking about it on the Pat McAfee Show. The safety was dealing with alcohol abuse issues and was having troubles in his married life with Rachel Bush.
He decided to heed the Jets superstar's advice and go on a retreat. Detailing his experience, Poyer said:
"I remember [Rodgers] on the Pat McAfee Show, speaking about Ayahuasca. I remember telling myself, 'He knows something. He knows something I don't.' I was going through a lot at the time, trying to figure out who I was. I did my retreat last year and the last day of the retreat, I wrote a message to Aaron and I said, 'Hey Aaron, I appreciate you for being a trailblazer. For opening these doorways to me because Ayahuasca in particular has really changed my life.'"
His experience was so profound that he brought his brother Jeremiah and mother Julie to his retreat with Rodgers. Enigma is streaming exclusively on Netflix.
