Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes will line up against Josh Allen for the AFC Championship in what is becoming the defining rivalry of this era. The Chiefs might have won three Super Bowls, including the last two editions, but the Bills have often been their toughest competitors and their games have always been close.
Buffalo comes into this game knowing they were the only team to defeat Kansas City in the regular season when Andy Reid sent out the starters. However, that game was back in New York and now Josh Allen has to travel to Arrowhead as he tries to reach his first Super Bowl.
We saw last season how the Bills defeated the Chiefs in the league before being eliminated in the knockout stages in the Divisional round. Therefore, Kansas City will be the favorite at home. The reason anyone expects this to be a close game at all, though, is because Josh Allen is playing at an MVP-level caliber this year.
Despite changing both receivers, Buffalo's quarterback has dragged his team to his will and Travis Kelce acknowledged as much when he said that he used to dream of playing like that. The Chiefs' tight end said that the Bills' star's athleticism, arm, and dual-threat ability is something he could only wonder about, commenting,

“Josh is who I used to dream about being like in the NFL. Big, athletic quarterback. Big arm. Be able to be a dual-threat guy. I never had the arm talent Josh has, so they kicked me over to tight end. You know, his ability to do everything!"
Travis Kelce highlights his favorite Josh Allen trait
While he was effusive in his praise of Josh Allen's physical qualities, it was the mental attribute that Travis Kelce highlighted in particular. The Chiefs' tight end said that the Bills' quarterback's leadership ability has really shone through and that Buffalo's performance depends mainly on how he plays. The Kansas City player continued,
"Obviously, he’s really took the bull by the horns and really been their leader upfront and channeled that. You know, guys come in and out of the building, and he’s the main piece in there making that thing go week in and week out. I got so much respect for that guy.”
Josh Allen renews his rivalry with Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes again this Sunday with the former seeking his first Super Bowl appearance as the home team looks to win a third consecutive crown.
