During the shock loss to the New York Jets, Buffalo Bills star and MVP hopeful Josh Allen may have suffered an arm injury. Late in the fourth quarter, with the Bills trailing by three with the ball, Allen was strip-sacked after a devastating hit from Jets pass rusher Bryce Huff.
The quarterback stayed in the game but was ineffective as the Bills could not score and lost a key divisional matchup. Immediately after the hit to his arm, he could be seen holding his arm and elbow.
He later confirmed that he was dealing with something in his arm, saying:

"Slight pain but I'll get through it."
There is concern for the quarterback's health in Buffalo, even though he insists that he will be fine. Ian Rapoport said that the quarterback is highly likely to be limited in practice this week, but very unlikely to miss their next match.
The Bills will need all hands on deck if they're to beat the 7-1 Vikings and continue to stave off the Jets and Miami Dolphins in the AFC East.
What happened to Josh Allen on Sunday?
It's unclear what exactly happened to the quarterback since he never left the game and hasn't been given an injury diagnosis yet. He's clearly dealing with some elbow discomfort, which could be nothing or it could be something serious.
He received the snap and went through his drop back and was winding up to deliver a pass before Huff knocked the ball out. Allen's arm was moving forward but was unable to complete the full, natural motion of throwing the ball.
When that happens, it's going to hurt, even if it's not a serious injury. However, a lack of follow-through on throws, depending on how awkward they are, can be deadly. A sudden cancelation of that motion is not something one's arm was designed to do very often.
However, he maintains that he's just fine and no one in Buffalo is indicating that that's not the case. Unless something gets worse or happens this week, expect to see him under center next week against Minnesota.
