Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills advanced to the AFC Championship Game following their hard-fought 27-25 win over Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens at Highmark Stadium in the Divisional Round.
The quarterback did not have his most prolific outing as a passer. He completed only 16 of his 22 pass attempts for 127 yards. He did score two touchdowns, but they were from one and four yards out. He rushed for only 20 yards on 10 attempts, as the Ravens' defense completely stifled him.
However, Allen did not commit any turnovers, unlike Jackson, who threw an interception and lost a fumble. He did just enough to help his team beat the Ravens and earn a spot in the AFC Championship Game, where they'll face the Kansas City Chiefs.
After the game, CBS sideline reporter Tracy Wolfson asked the Bills superstar if the team could avenge their loss to the Chiefs from last year's divisional-round matchup. He responded:

“I can’t tell you [how the rematch will be different]. I just know we’re going to work hard, we’re going to have a heck of a week, enjoy this one tonight and turn our attention to the Chiefs tomorrow," he said.
"We know what they are. They’re the perennial of what you want to be in the NFL. Someone’s you’ve got to beat them to get past them.”
Josh Allen's record vs. Patrick Mahomes
Since their first duel in the 2020 season, Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes have faced off eight times in the regular season and playoffs. Their head-to-head series is tied at 4-4, but Mahomes and the Chiefs have had all the glory in this fixture.
Since their first battle in Week 6 of the 2020 season, which Kansas City won 26-17, Buffalo has four straight regular-season games against them.
They are the only team to beat the Chiefs' starters this year. They handed them a 30-21 loss in Week 11, which ended their reigning Super Bowl champion's 15-game win streak dating back to last season.
However, the script flips when these two teams meet in the playoffs. Mahomes and Co. have eliminated Buffalo from the playoffs in three of the last four seasons, including last season, where the Bills lost at home in the divisional round.
Facing Mahomes and the Chiefs in the playoffs has brought nothing but suffering to Allen. He'll head to Arrowhead Stadium next week seeking a place in the Super Bowl and vindication.
