Josh Allen reveals 'one word' reaction after proposing to Hailee Steinfeld

Josh Allen took a big step toward his relationship with Hailee Steinfeld. He exchanged rings with the Bumblebee actress last week. Fans have been wondering what he felt after getting engaged to Steinfeld in a romantic sea-side proposal.

In the latest edition of "Beau Society" newsletter, Steinfeld shared a one-on-one conversation with Allen, in which the Hollywood star asked 17 questions from the Buffalo Bills star. One of the questions Steinfeld asked was how Allen felt "immediately after" proposing to her. Sharing his reply, the quarterback said:

"In one word: relieved. That I didn’t blow it nor did anyone else. You were extremely surprised, you said yes, and that was all that mattered to me. And the sun was out."

Hailee Steinfeld also asked the quarterback how he has been feeling after getting engaged to her, the Bills star replied:

"It feels unbelievable to be engaged to someone who is so special and loving and caring and gorgeous and fun and happy … I can keep going if you want me to keep going."

Hailee Steinfeld's latest newsletter started with the Hawkeye actress addressing her engagement with fiancé Josh Allen. Steinfeld opened up about having "happy tears" in her eyes when Allen went down on his knee to propose to her. Opening up about the same, Steinfeld said:

"I’m engaged!! All the happy tears have just barely dried. Whenever we tell the story, look back at photos, or even say ‘We’re engaged’ or ‘We’re getting married’ I start crying. While I can’t wait to tell you more about the day and things we’re planning, I’m not ready quite yet. I have to hold this close for a little while longer."

"But I’ll tell you that my fiancé(!) planned the most magical day of my life – and made the whole thing a complete surprise (not easy!). I’ve mentioned him a few times in past issues, but this week, I thought it would be fun to introduce you to my FIANCÉ, Mr. Josh Allen officially!" Steinfeld added.

Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld sparked romance last year when the couple were spotted enjoying a dinner date in New York City in May 2023. Fast forward to last week, the couple exchanged rings and would get married soon.
