Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen and actress Hailee Steinfeld are one step closer to saying “I do!” now that they are engaged. As Allen went down on one knee amid a stunning floral arrangement of pink and red roses to propose to Hailee, a different narrative brewed online.
Allen’s ex-girlfriend, Brittany Williams, whom he dated from 2017-2023, threw shade at NFL players. As per the screenshot posted on X (formerly Twitter) by a user named Megan McIntosh, an initial comment by an IG handle (@Powerfadepicks) under one of Britany’s IG posts read:

Brittany responded by commenting:

That said, Brittany Williams and Josh Allen have a long history.
Williams’s relationship with Allen was once a fairytale story. Childhood friends turned high school sweethearts.
The exes have done everything, from cohabitating in Buffalo to raising a dog together. Most importantly, since Brittany’s family was acquainted with Josh Allen’s family, they knew each other long before he skyrocketed to NFL fame.
After splitting from Brittany last year, Josh was linked to Hollywood actress Hailee Steinfeld in the Spring of ’23.
Two months after the rumors swirled about their romance, the couple made headlines after they were secretly captured kissing each other while holidaying in Mexico over the Fourth of July weekend.
By July 2024, Josh and Hailee went Instagram official with a picture of them in the backdrop of the iconic Eiffel Tower in Paris.
Finally, a year and a half after dating each other, the lovebirds were engaged on Nov. 22, 2024.
