Jason Kelce caused a stir after inviting Kansas City superfan Chiefsaholic on his podcast with brother Travis Kelce.
Chiefsaholic, whose real name is Xaviar Badbudar, dresses up in a wolf costume during Chiefs' games. He's on the run after an alleged bank robbery, and Jason Kelce wanted to invite him on to give his side of the story.
Now, another Kansas City staple, Guy's Snacks, has gotten involved in the saga, and they did not take as charitable a view of the superfan as the Kelce brothers did. Writing on Twitter, they said that they did not know his whereabouts either. However, differing from Jason Kelce, they said that if he had turned up at their establishment, they would call the police.

Guy's Snacks aims guns at both Jason Kelce and Chiefsaholic
The tweet was notable in that it marked a departure from the stance taken by Jason Kelce. He had said:
"Chiefsaholic, I don’t know where you are, but my brother and I would love to have you on @newheightsshow to tell your story. We will go wherever and disclose nothing for the sake of journalism."
That has led to a flood of criticism, as the Kelce brothers have said that they would essentially give space to a fugitive without disclosing his location even if they came to know his whereabouts.
The Kansas City Chiefs superfan was supposed to appear at a hearing last Monday but reportedly took off his ankle bracelet and remains on the run. The case is connected to a bank robbery in Oklahoma last year.
When Jason Kelce later doubled down, saying that Chiefsaholic was just an alleged bank robber and implying that he would hold the presumption of innocence first, he was met with further displeasure from fans.
Considering that his brother Travis is a star with the Kansas City Chiefs, there was further comment about them engaging someone on the run from the law just because he happens to support his team.
With Guy's Snacks taking aim at them, it has made it clear that despite Chiefsaholic being a superfan and something of a local celebrity, most in the community do not support his wayward ways.
Getting pinged by a local establishment will let us know if the Kelce brothers change tack in any way or whether they double down on their initial sentiment. It should be a fascinating storyline one way or the other.
