The Cleveland Browns ended their disastrous season by going out with a whimper early on Saturday as the AFC North champion Baltimore Ravens walked all over them in a 35-10 win. The Browns essentially handed Lamar Jackson another game to make a case for himself as MVP. The Ravens QB threw for 217 yards and two scores, taking his season tally to 4,172 yards and 41 TDs with just four INTs.

The widely held belief on social media was that there would be some major changes for next season, either on the GM side of things or on the coaching side. As it happens, the Browns officially announced a parting of ways with offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey. OL Coach Andy Dickerson will also follow Dorsey out the door.

When news of Dorsey's firing went public, Browns fans sang from the same hymn sheet, believing the franchise pinned the blame on him for a season that yielded just three wins. Here's what Browns fans had to say on social media:

"Hard luck Dorsey," one fan wrote.
"Was he really the issue here?" one fan questioned.
"In what way is this his fault," another fan wrote.

Exploring Ken Dorsey's NFL coaching background

Dorsey spent just one year with the Browns after spending five seasons with the Buffalo Bills, where he worked with Josh Allen, first as a quarterbacks coach and then as passing game coordinator/quarterbacks coach.

In 2022, Dorsey was promoted to offensive coordinator. In his first season as Bills OC, the team finished second in the league in total offense (397.6 yards per game) and points per game (28.4).

Where do the Cleveland Browns go from here?

In December, the Browns and Watson mutually came to an agreement to restructure his contract. Watson is still owed $92 million and the restructure means he will be on the roster in 2025 and possibly 2026.

There have been rumors that the Browns will look to bring Kirk Cousins in this summer with the Atlanta Falcons looking at Michael Penix Jr. as their franchise quarterback. In any case, expect the Browns to make a few more moves in the offseason.

Star rusher Myles Garrett has also made it clear that he wants to win. After Saturday's loss to Baltimore, Garrett once again told reporters that he would have a sit-down with management to settle his future.
