There were rumors that Lamar Jackson suffered a groin injury in the Baltimore Ravens' loss to the Cleveland Browns in Week 8.

After missing practice on Wednesday, which Ravens coach John Harbaugh labeled as "rest," Jackson also missed Thursday's session.

The Athletic's Jeff Zrebiec took to X on Thursday and gave an update on Jackson:

"Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (back/knee) is not practicing for a second straight day. Ravens HC John Harbaugh described yesterday as a “rest” day for Jackson, but he’s not out there again today. With two games in five days, Jackson’s status obviously becoming a storyline." -Jeff Zrebiec on X.

ESPN's Adam Schefter also reported that Jackson did not practice due to back and knee issues.

It appears that there is a big chance that Lamar Jackson won't play on Sunday. While the severity of his injury has not been reported, missing back-to-back practices is a cause of concern.

After losing to the Browns, the Ravens will look to get back in the win column but will face a tough Denver Broncos team led by rookie QB Bo Nix. Denver has won five of its last six games.

Before losing to the Browns, the Ravens were on a five-game win streak.

Heading into Sunday's game at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Maryland, the Ravens are big 9.5-point favorites and have -450 moneyline odds.
