On Sunday night, Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens will host Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills at M&T Bank Stadium in a duel for a spot in the AFC Championship Game. The two MVP award frontrunners will go head-to-head for the second time this season and according to the Ravens superstar, it'll be the last time he sees the Bills quarterback until they face each other again.

During his media availability on Wednesday, Jackson was asked if he and Allen had ever spent time together in the offseason. He replied:

"I don't really chill with people in the offseason, especially not other QBs. Don't get me wrong. There's no problem, but we're competing against each other. Like, I'm trying to beat you. I'm not trying to be your friend."

He added that he doesn't intend to strike a friendship with the Bills signal-caller until they both hang their cleats and ride off into the sunset:

"When we're older, we'll probably laugh about it, but right now, it's serious. I ain't laughing with you. For real."

Lamar Jackson stats: QB looking for playoff redemption

Lamar Jackson, the favorite to win the MVP award for the third time in his career, is keen on changing the narrative about him being a playoff choker. The 28-year-old's numbers in the postseason are in dire need of a facelift.

In seven playoff games, the quarterback has thrown for 1,499 yards and eight touchdowns with a 59.6% completion rate and six interceptions. He has fared better significantly as a rusher than as a passer. He has 608 rushing yards with three touchdowns but has fumbled six times, losing three.

With Jackson under center, the Ravens have a 3-4 postseason record. His playoff performances have left much to be desired, but he has a chance to change the narrative this year.

He has already led the Raves to a win over their arch-rival Pittsburgh Steelers and has the chance to take down Josh Allen and the Bills. If Lamar Jackson can lead the Ravens to a Super Bowl win, he'll shed his reputation as a playoff choker.

It remains to be seen whether the quarterback can lead the franchise to the promised land or they fall short again in the postseason.
