Seattle Seahawks interior defensive lineman Leonard Williams is still one of the best defensive tackles in the NFL in 2024. In his second season with the Seahawks and his 10th NFL season, Williams had nine sacks and 15 tackles for a loss, and he was a force on the inside of the D-line.
Yesterday, the NFL announced Pro Bowl rosters for the 2025 NFL Pro Bowl and to a big surprise, Williams didn't make it in the NFC. Philadelphia Eagles' Jalen Carter, Tampa Bay Buccaneers' Vita Vea and New York Giants' Dexter Lawrence made the Pro Bowl over Williams.
Upon finding out he didn't make it, Williams voiced his frustrations.
"It's pretty disappointing if I'm being honest," Williams said (via ESPN). "I feel like I definitely deserved it this year, but I'm happy for the guys that made it. They equally deserved it. That's why they're in the Pro Bowl."

Williams continued:
"Luckily, I found out about it yesterday ... so I was able to get out some of my frustrations at home and things like that before I came into the building today," Williams said. "But either way, it's frustrating, as much as I don't want to make it seem like it matters. At the end of the day, it doesn't mean everything."
Williams is an alternate on the Pro Bowl roster, and could be named a Pro Bowler, with Lawrence hurt and Carter in the playoffs.
Wiliams led all interior defensive linemen in sacks (nine), tackles for loss (15), an interception return for touchdowns and was second in quarterback hits.
Aside from Leonard Williams, who else was snubbed from the Pro Bowl?
Each year, the Pro Bowl leaves out a few players that fans, players and people around the football world think should be in. Some think the Pro Bowl is a popularity contest with some undeserving players getting in.
Here are four other players aside from Leonard Williams who can be viewed as Pro Bowl snubs from this season:
Baker Mayfield: The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback ranks second in the NFL in completion percentage (71.7), he's third in passing yards (4,279), fifth in yards per attempt (8.0), second in touchdown passes (39) and fourth in passer rating (107.6).
Brian Thomas Jr.: The rookie sensation for Jacksonville hasn't been just one of the best rookie wideouts; he's become one of the best wide receivers in the NFL. Thomas' 1,179 receiving yards ranks fifth and he's tied for the fifth-most receiving touchdowns with 10.
Kerby Joseph: The Detroit Lions safety leads the NFL in interceptions with nine and has two more than any other player. Joseph also tallied 77 tackles and had a career-high 12 passes deflected.
Kyren Williams: The Los Angeles Rams' young emerging running back deserved to be a Pro Bowler. He ranks third in rushing yards (1,299), second in rushing touchdowns (14) and has 34 catches for 182 yards and two receiving touchdowns.
