Lil Wayne and Aaron Rodgers couldn't be more opposite when it comes to their career paths. One is a Grammy award-winning rapper and the other plays quarterback for the Green Bay Packers. However, the rapper is a fan of the Packers and appeared on the Fox Sports 1 show Undisputed. Lil Wayne went after Rodgers and his play thus far in the 2022-23 season.

Lil Wayne said:

"You know, as a competitor, [Rodgers] kind of reminds me of Tom Brady with the competitiveness and all that, but I don't think he would do that. But what I can say is that he's playing, I definitely believe that it has something to do it. I don't think he's just doing it on purpose. I think that has just naturally happened."

Lil Wayne added:

"If I was a player on that team, it’s hard to come to work every day and know that I’m playing with someone that doesn’t want me on the field. So it’s hard for me to run through a wall for that guy."

The rapper's comments come after he tweeted that the season is over for Green Bay following their shocking loss to the Detroit Lions in Week 9. He mentioned that the franchise should've moved on from Aaron Rodgers in the offseason.

Aaron Rodgers, the Green Bay Packers, and their season to forget

Many Green Bay fans feel like Lil Wayne after the Week 9 loss to the Lions, which dropped them to 3-6 and second in the NFC North. Aaron Rodgers hasn't done much for the Packers with his play this season. So far in the 2022-23 season, the 38-year-old quarterback has thrown 14 touchdowns and seven interceptions.

Three of Aaron Rodgers' seven interceptions this season came against the Lions in Week 9, including two in the red zone. Last season, the Packers star had four interceptions in total and five in the 2020-21 season. The Super Bowl-winning quarterback had 10 games last season in which he threw for over 250 yards. This season, he has just four such games with over 250 passing yards.

We'll see if the Packers can turn their season around as they've been a sucker of pain thus far.
