Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon has once again found himself in trouble. On Friday morning, NFL Insider Dov Kleiman tweeted that the Cincinnati Bengals running back is being recharged by the Cincinnati Police with Aggravated Menacing.
The incident that the running back is being charged for occurred in January when he had an altercation with another motorist. Mixon is accused of threatening the other citizen while also waving a gun towards them as well.
He was originally charged in January but the charges were then dropped in February. It appears that new evidence in the case has been discovered and the charges have been refiled and he is expected to appear in court next week in regards to the case.

Bengals fans weren't pleased when they heard of Joe Mixon's most recent run-in with the law. Many were quick to say that the Bengals should cut their losses and just release him since he has been a distraction off the field. This is just one of the incidents that has involved the running back this offseason.
A shooting took place outside his home in Cincinnati. Although he is said to not be involved, in that incident, it didn't help his situation. The Bengals will now have questions to answer regarding their running back, just weeks before the NFL Draft.
Could the Bengals sign RB Ezekiel Elliott, amid Joe Mixon concerns?
Although Joe Mixon hasn't faced a judge for the recent charges made against him, there are some serious ramifications that the running back could be facing. Although it is a misdemeanor offense, aggravated menacing could lead to jailtime and a fine.
If the Cincinnati Bengals are ready to move on from running back, there is a possible option as a replacement. And that would be none other than former Ohio State Buckeye Ezekiel Elliott.
Elliott was reportedly interested in joining the Bengals after being released by the Dallas Cowboys last month. Now it appears that Cincinnati may be the right opportunity for him.
The Bengals already have an explosive offense and if Elliott can find that speed and tough play that he played with earlier in his career, then he could be a reliable back for the team.
It could also be a good backup option for Cincinnati if they choose to stick with Mixon for the time being as he sorts out his legal troubles.
