Former New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones is expected to join a new team soon. Jones was released by the Giants on Friday.
On Monday, Jones officially cleared waivers and is free to sign with any franchise. He's expected to move to a playoff team, and NFL insider Jordan Schultz reported that Jones isn't interested in signing with the Las Vegas Raiders.
Jones had a chance to be a starter with the Raiders, but it appears the quarterback is fine being a backup and joining a Super Bowl contender. The news had NFL fans on X itching to have their say.

Daniel Jones likely to sign with contender soon
Daniel Jones is expected to sign with a playoff contender soon. According to ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter, the Baltimore Ravens and Minnesota Vikings are the likely destinations for the former first-round pick.
Vikings coach Kevin O'Connell wouldn't confirm if the team is interested in Jones, but he said he thinks he is a good player.
"I'm not going to really get into that today, but I will say tons of respect for Daniel Jones as a player and a person," O'Connell said, via ESPN. "Got to know him through the draft process years ago.
"I'm sure now that he's a free agent and there's probably a ton of league-wide interest in him, Daniel is going to make the decision that is best for him and his career moving forward, and I'm sure he's working through that process right now."
Before being released, Jones went 216-for-341 for 2,070 yards, eight touchdowns and seven interceptions.
