As the college football season concludes tonight, many top prospects have begun and will continue to declare for the 2023 NFL draft. The most recent prospect to declare for this year's draft is Michigan Wolverines tight end Luke Schoonmaker.
The 6'6 250-pound senior declared for the NFL draft and will be a key piece, leaving the Michigan Wolverines' offense.
The senior didn't record the most eye-popping stats during his five seasons in college, but had had a solid 2022 season, which raised his NFL draft stock.

Schoonmaker recorded career-highs in receptions (35) and receiving yards (418) while adding three touchdowns this past season.
The 24-year-old recorded three touchdowns last season on 17 receptions and 165 yards. He decided to declare fifth-year eligibility at the conclusion of last season and decided to return for another year.
Schoonmaker is known for his versatility at the position as he's a good receiver and blocker. He's big and strong enough to be a solid run-blocker, and is known for being quick for his size and that can help in the receiving game. He earned third-team All Big-Ten honors this season.
Could the Michigan Wolverines also lose head coach Jim Harbaugh this year?
Jim Harbaugh could leave the Michigan Wolverines and resume his NFL coaching career next season. He was interviewed last off-season for the Minnesota Vikings head coach vacancy, but the two never agreed to join forces.
As the Denver Broncos have begun their head coaching search, they plan to interview Harbaugh sometime this week.
Harbuagh was the San Francisco 49ers' head coach from 2011-2014. He piled up a 44-19-1 career record in his four seasons as head coach.
He led the 49ers to a Super Bowl appearance but lost to his brother, John, and the Baltimore Ravens.
Harbaugh could make a return back to the NFL for a second stint as head coach if he decides to ditch the University of Michigan.
